Kimberleigh Hagar, LCSW, RYT-200
Hi, I’m Kimberleigh. I live by my planner and marker pens to help me hold all the parts of my life together in a colorfully organized way. I embrace my “type-A” Virgo personality, honoring the parts of it that help me to feel productive and successful, while actively trying to keep in check that parts that can get in the way sometimes. I’m an ambivert (combo introvert/extrovert) who seeks out and enjoys adventures with my friends and family, but also knows when that needs to be balanced with quiet time to keep me feeling grounded. I feel most at peace on my purple yoga mat or snuggling with my dog. I lived in Illinois my whole life before moving to North Carolina for warmer winters in 2019.
My holistic go-to’s:
For recharging: a deep stretch yoga class or self-Reiki with intentional breathing
For activating: a high movement yoga class like power yoga or vinyasa flow or going outside for a hike/power walk
For reflecting: pulling 1-3 tarot cards to prompt my Wise Mind & a journal with different color pens to jot down different thoughts & ideas
I work with women who often feel an imbalance in their lives and are quick to sacrifice self-care for others or in the face of stress. They’re trying to learn how to shift their mindset and prioritize themselves in order to feel more peace of mind. Using many of the very same skills and strategies I teach my clients, I know the value that can come from feeling mindfully balanced in your mind, body, soul, and connections.
